PS2 is a contemporary renovation of a Haussmannian apartment, reinterpreting its classical framework through a careful selection of material and elements.
Located within a historic Haussmannian building, the apartment benefits from generous proportions, high ceilings, and characteristic white walls. These defining elements were carefully preserved, serving as a neutral architectural backdrop for the intervention.
The kitchen was opened toward the reception and living areas using slender metal columns, allowing for spatial continuity without compromising structure. A continuous metallic sheet wall acts as a visual and spatial link between functions, reinforcing connectivity while adding a contemporary layer to the historic interior.
The project focuses on enhancing flow and openness while preserving the elegance and identity of the original space.
